Polydor Records/Universal Music CanadaBryan Adams will compete for three honors at the 2020 edition of the Juno Awards, the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys.

The veteran Canadian rocker has been nominated for the Artist of the Year, while his 2019 album Shine a Light is in the running for the Album of the Year and Adult Contemporary Album of the Year prizes.

Meanwhile, the late Leonard Cohen garnered a nomination in the Adult Alternative Album of the Year category for his posthumous album, Thanks for the Dance.

The artist with the most nominations this year is pop star Alessia Cara, with six nods. Cara also will host the 2020 Juno Awards ceremony, which takes place March 15 at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The event will be aired live across Canada, and will stream at CBC.ca/music/junos.
