Two juveniles have been taken into custody in connection with a fatal shooting incident Thursday in Boone County.
Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore says his office received a report of a shooting in the 10000 block of Widner Lane north of Harrison.
When officers arrived, they discovered the deceased body of a female inside the residence. Also at the scene, officers located two male juveniles.
During the course of the investigation, the two juveniles living in the home were taken into custody.
Investigators are working in conjunction with the 14th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office to determine what charges will be filed in the case.
Sheriff Moore says the investigation is continuing.
