For those who plan to vote in the March 3 primary and who are not registered voters or have moved since the last election, time to get registered in quickly running out. The deadline to register to vote in the primary is Monday.
Baxter County and Circuit Clerk Canda Reese says with the earlier election date, the date to get registered also had to be moved forward.

To register to vote a state or federal ID is suggested, but not required. You do have to have a government issued ID to vote on election day.
Early voting for the March 3 primary begins Feb. 18.
