A Rockin’ Rollin’ Man: Bon Scott Remembered is comprised of new interviews with a variety of well-known rock musicians reflecting on what made the hard-rocking, hard-living singer so special.

Carlos, ex-Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing, Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham, Hanoi Rocks singer Michael Monroe, Pantera singer Phil Anselmo and engineer Tony Platt, who worked on AC/DC’s Highway to Hell and Back in Black albums.

A Rockin’ Rollin’ Man: Bon Scott Remembered was put together by journalist/author Greg Prato, who previously has written books about KISS, late Deep Purple guitarist Tommy Bolin, Iron Maiden and many other popular rock acts.

The new book is available now in paperback and Kindle editions at Amazon.com. You can check out an excerpt at SongFacts.com.

Scott joined AC/DC in 1974, before the band recorded its debut album, and helped lead the group to international stardom. Among the many classic AC/DC tunes he co-wrote and sang were “Highway to Hell,” “Whole Lotta Rosie,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” “T.N.T.” and “It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock ‘n’ Roll).” Bon was just 33 when he died, following a night of heavy drinking.
