Courtesy of SanukThe Grateful Dead has teamed up with Sanuk to launch a new line of sandals and comfortable slip-on shoes inspired by the famous jam band, part of an ongoing partnership between the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers and the footwear company.
The new Sanuk x Grateful Dead Collection is available now online and will be sold in retail stores starting on April 1.
The shoes and sandals, which are available for men, women and children, all feature The Grateful Dead’s famous dancing bears, with some also boasting inner linings with tie-dye designs.
The new kicks are variations of popular Sanuk styles, including in the Yoga Sling 2 sandal, the Furreal Classic flip flop, and the Donna and Vagabond Sidewalk Surfers. The Donna and Vagabond feature a hemp upper section.
A previous Sanuk x Grateful Dead Collection was released in April 2019.
“We’re pumped to release a second collection as a tribute to one of the most celebrated rock bands of all time,” says Sanuk executive Seth Pulford. “The visual and musical symbols that represent the Grateful Dead stand apart from every other band, and that’s what we’re hoping to achieve with these new patterns and colorways in classic Sanuk styles.”
