8 new business licenses issued in MH in January

Licenses were issued for eight new businesses by the City of Mountain Home in January, according to Jeannie Anderson in the building inspection department.Records indicate a license was issued to Johan Smith and Sue Lowery for Wellness Institute of the Ozarks Inc., a health spa located at 321 South College Street. In addition, a license was issued to Suzy Peterson for Lunceford Enterprises, LLC, a tax preparation business located at 505 South Main Street, and to John Hogan for Custom Glass and Mirror, located at 903 State Highway 5 North.

The remaining five licenses were issued to individuals for home-based businesses.

The licenses were to Race Jones for Black Oak Painting, a painting contractor; Darin Decaro for Quality Home Repair; Sheryl Holcombe for S Holcombe Photography; Amberly Suscella for Southern Custom Events, an event planning business; and Jesse Brown for Remware LLC, a software development, IT services and computer repair business.

Total licensing revenue for January was $10,611, including alcohol tax, occupational and pet licenses and garage sales.
