MH hosts Greene County Tech to end long home stand

High school basketball makes up the local Tuesday schedule, as Mountain Home will wrap up its three-game home stand. Conference action continues for the Bombers and Lady Bombers, as they face Greene County Tech.
Mountain Home’s girls are 17-4 on the season and 6-2 in the 5A-East after picking up a one-point overtime victory over Jonesboro on Friday. Tech is 4-16 and 1-7 after getting beat up by Nettleton. The Lady Bombers defeated the Lady Eagles 51-40 on Jan. 14.
The Mountain Home boys are 12-9 overall and 3-5 in the league, as they come off a seven-point win over Jonesboro. Tech had a six-point win over Nettleton on Friday to improve to 17-5 and 4-4. The Bombers were edged out by the Golden Eagles 41-39 nearly a month ago.
The junior varsity girls’ game tips off at 4:45 followed by the J.V. boys’ contest. The varsity games will get underway around 6 and can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
Also in the 5A-East, Searcy hosts West Memphis, Jonesboro entertains Paragould, and Nettleton is home against Marion.

Elsewhere, Mountain Home Christian Academy hosts Izard County, Norfork travels to Concord, Flippin entertains Yellville-Summit, Bruno-Pyatt is home against Timbo for Senior Night, Bakersfield’s boys make the trip to Alton, Gainesville heads to Fordland, the Lutie boys travel to Dora, Dora’s girls make the trip to Seymour, Viola hosts Green Forest, Salem entertains Mammoth Spring, Melbourne is home against Mountain View for Senior Night, the St. Joe boys host Mount Judea, Rural Special entertains Pangburn, Lead Hill heads to Kingston, Omaha is home against Alpena, and Western Grove travels to Jasper.
