2 injured in Thursday afternoon crash

Two people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Ozark County. Sixty-five-year-old Lehman Wilburn of Theodosia was airlifted to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with what the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP)  termed serious injuries. Seventy-three-year-old Stanley Bushnell of Theodosia was taken by private vehicle to Baxter Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

According to the MSHP report, the accident occurred when Wilburn’s vehicle crossed the centerline and struck Bushnell’s vehicle.

The crash happened 1 mile east of Theodosia on U.S. Highway 160 Thursday afternoon at 3:40.
