The Baxter County Friends of the Library are holding a used book sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County.Hours Thursday are from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.Books will be half-price on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., and bags of books will be available for $2 from noon until 1. The Friends of the Library Used Book Sale has a wide variety of books from which to choose. Genres include mystery, western, romance, non-fiction and collectors’ editions. The book sale often includes puzzles, movies, CDs, children’s books and magazines.The Friends of the Library respectfully request those who may have large donations to make to wait until after the sale for bringing in those items.
As with everything the Friends of the Library organize, proceeds go to support the Baxter County Library. The programs available at the library would not be possible without the help of Friends of the Library fundraisers.
