Operation Christmas Child-North Central Arkansas is hosting a celebration event Saturday morning at 10 at First Free Will Baptist Church, located at 1306 East Ninth Street in Mountain Home.
The event will celebrate and recognize everyone who packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child last year. Project leaders will be recognized and totals will be given. Information will also be shared on how to be a year around volunteer with Operation Christmas Child-North Central Arkansas. This celebration is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.
