DONIPHAN, Mo. (AP) – Human remains found in a rural area of southeast Missouri have been identified as those of a man reported missing in late January. KFVS-TV reports that the remains of 38-year-old Brandon Harris of Ripley County were found Sunday. Sheriff Mike Barton says investigators had been looking into several leads into Harris’ disappearance. He declined to release any additional information about the case. It wasn’t immediately clear if foul play was suspected. Harris’ vehicle was found at a business on Jan. 25. Relatives and friends told authorities he was last seen near a Doniphan nightclub on Jan. 24 or Jan. 25.
