Five local winners are among the players sharing more than $72 million in prizes from the Missouri Lottery during the month of January.
The Missouri Lottery report shows the top local player was Jeremy Burkett of Theodosia, who was a $5,000 Scratchers winner.
Michaell Bolen from Marshall was a $4,000 Scratchers winner.
The three other local players were all $1,000 Scratchers winners. They are Hope Bell of Caulfield; Kenneth Marberry of Flippin; and John Adams of Gainesville.
