On the Tuesday night basketball schedule, the Mountain Home High School teams will play their final home games of the season, as Searcy comes to town for senior night.

The Lady Bombers are still fighting for a chance at a number one seed from the 5A East Conference for the state tournament next week. Mountain Home is 20-5 on the season and 9-3 in conference play, one game behind co-conference leaders Nettleton and West Memphis. The Lady Lions enter the game with a 6-18 overall record and 1-11 in league play.

While the Mountain Home boys have been eliminated from playoff contention, they can still finish as high as fifth in the 5A East. The Bombers are 14-11 overall and 5-7 in conference play, currently tied with Searcy for fifth place. The Lions are 10-14 overall.

The junior varsity girls play at 4:45 followed by the J.V. boys. The varsity games begin around 6 and will be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live on ktlo.com.

Tuesday night is the annual Pitch in For Kids event to benefit The Call. Fans are asked to bring a new pair of pajamas or socks for foster children in Mountain Home. During the first time out or end of the first quarter of the boys’ game, the items will be tossed from the stands onto the playing court.

Elsewhere in the 5A East Tuesday night, Jonesboro hosts cross-town rival Nettleton, Marion is at Paragould, and Greene County Tech hosts West Memphis.

In Missouri, district play continues for two area teams.

In girls’ play, Gainesville will see semifinal round action at the Class 2 District 10 Tournament at Cabool. The Lady Bulldogs take on top-seeded Hartville at 6.

On the boy’s side, top seeded Dora will face Bradleyville in the Class 1 District 4 Tournament. The game at Norwood begins at 5.
