The 27th Arkansas Infantry Regiment Camp #1519 Sons of Confederate Veterans has donated $200 to the Bob Davis Veterans Center toward completing restoration of the facility.
The Bob Davis Veteran Center is a full-service, 18-bed center assisting and supporting United States veterans in various levels of need. Its services include a coffee hut with pastries and more, a game area for friendly competition with fellow veterans and others and a job program to assist veterans with resume building, interview skills and more. An Army surplus store is also included and open to the public with proceeds benefiting the veteran center.
The center is located at 429 East Ninth Street in Mountain Home.
