Tuesday’s schedule includes the start of the season for the Mountain Home High School softball team. The Lady Bombers start 2020 on the road, as they meet Springdale.
Mountain Home is coming off a season in which they finished with a record of 20-8. The Lady Bombers were last year’s 5A-East runners-up before they fell to El Dorado in the opening round of the Class 5A State Tournament. Mountain Home head coach Shelby Anderson says she has a lot of experience returning from last year’s team.

The varsity game begins at 5 p.m. followed by the junior varsity contest.
In other high school softball, Marshall travels to Green Forest.
In baseball action, Yellville-Summit hosts Berryville, Marshall entertains Shirley, and Omaha will have its Green-Gold game.
