SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) – Authorities have arrested a man after a woman was found dead in a Springfield home. Fifty-five-year-old John Schuck is jailed in Greene County on suspicion of second-degree murder in the death of 54-year-old Tammy Colbert. Springfield police arrested Schuck after finding Colbert dead Monday morning while responding to a report that a woman wasn’t breathing. Police said the two lived together, and it appeared Colbert had been physically assaulted. No formal charges are listed for Schuck in online court records. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney.
