A Mountain Home man, 54-year-old Roger Lee Ramsey, found out carrying an alleged illegal drug in his wallet for his scheduled meeting with his probation officer is not a good idea.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Ramsey met with his probation officer on Feb. 21. When the officer searched his possessions, he discovered a clear sandwich bag in the Mountain Home man’s wallet. The bag allegedly contained a quarter of a gram of methamphetamine.

Ramsey was taken into custody, transported to the Baxter County Detention Center and charged with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine.

A search of Ramsey’s criminal history revealed felony convictions in multiple states qualifying him as a habitual offender.

Bond in the latest arrest was set at $1,500.
