The Bull Shoals Police Department is offering citizens assistance in an attempt to ease the minds of those possibly shut in at their residences due to the continued threat of coronavirus (COVID-19). Officers will pick up and deliver medications from Lakeside Pharmacy and small orders from Harps in Bull Shoals beginning Monday.

Items will need to be prepaid before being picked up by an officer. The pharmacy will also need to be informed when an officer arrives to pick up a resident’s medication.

Bull Shoals law enforcement will only offer pickups at the pharmacy and grocery store in the city and will be unable to make runs into Mountain Home or Flippin. In addition, officers will not give rides to and from locations to prevent any viral transmission. Emergency calls for service will take priority.

Anyone needing assistance can contact the Bull Shoals Police Department at 870-445-4775 or the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 870-449-4236. Leave a name and a number, and it will be given to an on-duty officer.

Residents are also encouraged to keep an eye on their neighbors, especially if they’re elderly. For emergencies, dial 911.
