KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – The University of Missouri is asking all undergraduates living in residence halls in Columbia to move out to help combat the coronavirus pandemic. The university system announced last week that all remaining spring semester classes would move online but had said residence halls would remain open. This week, students received an email saying they need to move back to their permanent homes. University officials said they will work with students without a permanent home, such as international students. On Wednesday, Southeast Missouri State University joined most other major colleges in the state in announcing that all classes for the rest of the semester will be held online.
