While the St. Louis Cardinals and the rest of Major League Baseball are facing a delay to the 2020 season, KTLO-AM will begin a run of classic Cardinal games. The latter portion of the 2011 season, the Cardinals’ last year as World Series champions, will begin Monday and run through May 11.

Coverage will begin Monday, with the start of a four-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Aug. 25, 2011. St. Louis began play that day 10 1/2 games out of the wildcard lead, with just over four weeks left in the season. They would finish the season by winning 23 of their last 32 games to earn the wildcard on the season’s final day.

The final broadcast will come May 11, with the replay of the seventh game of the 2011 World Series when the Redbirds defeated the Texas Rangers on Oct. 28.

The broadcasts for each game will begin at 6:15 on weeknights, 6 p.m. on Saturdays and noon on Sundays.
