LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas’ largest city is expanding its curfew because of the coronavirus outbreak. Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott said Wednesday the city will impose a curfew from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The city was already enforcing a curfew from midnight until 5 a.m. because of the outbreak. Health officials said Wednesday the state had at least 280 coronavirus cases, up from 232 on Tuesday. Gov. Asa Hutchinson and health officials planned a news conference Wednesday afternoon on the outbreak. Lawmakers are expected to meet Thursday for a special session focused on a $353 million shortfall Arkansas faces because of the pandemic.
