As the Mountain Home School District remains closed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, parents might have questions on where to trade in a digital device or how to access an online resource, and students might have questions for teachers not being answered when it’s after hours. Starting Monday, the Mountain Home Public Schools Helpline will have phone numbers parents and students can call weekdays between 4 and 7 p.m. to receive assistance.

Questions related to students in kindergarten through fifth grade can be directed to Laura Strider by calling or texting 662-775-0723. For sixth through 12th grades, Judy Lawrence will be available at 901-214-5406. If Strider or Lawrence cannot immediately answer the question, they will work to find the answer and get back to the caller.

The Mountain Home School District is also reminding parents of the device exchange/pickup depot set up by the technology department for students in first through 12th grades needing to check out an iPad or a Chromebook or having issues with a device that can’t be resolved over the phone. Items can be picked up or exchanged Tuesday from 11 to 6 in the front office lobby of Mountain Home High School Career Academies on Bomber Boulevard. Members of the technology department will be available to take tech-related AMI day calls during school hours at 870-425-2549, and the email address is technology@mhbombers.com.
