Mountain Home High School Principal Brent Bogy announces an event for 2020 seniors on April 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
Bogy says the event will be held in a drive-thru style allowing students to drop off textbooks and pick up various important items. Students and/or their parents should drive to the area of the bomber airplane in front of the high school, and staff members will be compliant with current health regulations.
Seniors will be able to pick up the following items: caps and gowns; yearbooks; cords or stoles for honor graduates and completers; complementary “Class of 2020” yard signs for senior recognition; award certificates; time capsules; prescription medication left at school and personal items from school lockers.Jostens will have a table set up at the event for students who need to purchase a yearbook, or who need cap and gown assistance.Bogy says senior advisors will call students before the event to find out who has items in their lockers that need to be collected and returned on April 30 and reminds students to not forget to return all textbooks and library books during this event.

The school has also announced prom has been postponed and is now scheduled to be held on  July 10 at The Sheid on the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home campus.

Bogy says school officials look forward to making a few more memories with seniors, one way or another. He also thanks students and parents for being so understanding, as everyone works through these new challenges.
