ST. LOUIS (AP) – The temporary leader of the University of Missouri-St. Louis is officially getting the job. Interim Chancellor Kristin Sobolik on Thursday was appointed to the position permanently. The University of Missouri Board of Curators approved her appointment unanimously. University of Missouri System President Mun Choi appointed Sobolik interim chancellor when former Chancellor Thomas George retired in September. Choi says Sobolik rose to the top to take the job permanently after a national search.
