The annual spring clean-up for Methvin Sanitation in the city of Mountain Home will be next week. The event gives customers a chance to dispose of large items not normally picked up during regular curbside trash disposal.
Methvin says among the items they will pick up are furniture, mattresses and box springs, freon-free appliances, toys, bicycles without tires, push or self-propelled lawn mowers with the gas and oil drained, tools, clothes, metal in short lengths, carpet cut into 4-foot lengths, fencing and lumber. Items they will not pick up include electronics, yard waste or construction debris.
You must have your items to the curb by 6 a.m. on your normal trash pick-up day.
