In addition to the possibility of thunderstorms, a pair of wind advisories will take effect later on Sunday. One wind advisory will begin for southern Missouri at 4 p.m., and North Central Arkansas’s will take effect three hours later. Both advisories will expire at 7 a.m. Monday. Hood says this goes with the system bringing the chance for severe thunderstorms.
