The series is hosted Katie Daryl, who also hosts the Hi-Def network’s show The Top Ten Revealed.
REO Speedwagon saw four of their classic songs — “Keep On Loving You,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Time for Me to Fly” and “Take It on the Run” — enter the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart after the band appeared on the March 27 episode of the hit Netflix series Ozark, titled “Kevin Cronin Was Here.”
“Keep On Loving You” hit #10, “Can’t Fight This Feeling” landed at #13, “Time for Me to Fly” at #15 and “Take It on the Run” at #16 on the tally. In addition, REO’s 1988 compilation album, The Hits, which includes all four tracks, entered the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart at #49.
“Thanks to our friends at Ozark, my kids actually think I’m cool.” Cronin says in a statement. “Plus, REO has four songs in the Billboard top 20, so my wife thinks I’m cool too! I am a lucky guy. REO Speedwagon has the best fans in the world. Stay safe, and remember the courageous front-line workers,” he added, referring to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Kevin will be featured on four upcoming episodes of AXS TV’s The Top Ten Revealed that will premiere on May 31, June 14, June 28 and July 12. The themes of the respective shows will be “Songs Stuck at #2,” “Yacht Rock,” “’70s Folk Songs,” and “Epic Songs of ’84.”
