Bryan Adams among artists slated to appear in star-studded 'Stronger Together' Canadian special

Corus EntertainmentOn the heels of Saturday’s star-studded One World: Together at Home special that celebrated healthcare workers across the globe helping to fight COVID-19, a similar event featuring just Canadian artists has now been announced.

Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble — that’s French for “all together” — will air Sunday, April 26, at 7 p.m. ET across more than two dozen Canadian media platforms, including a number of online streaming options. CTV News reports that artists performing from their homes during the hour-long event include Bryan Adams, Sarah McLachlan, Barenaked Ladies, Shania Twain, Michael Buble, folk singer Buffy Sainte-Marie, and Celine Dion. Dion also appeared on the One World: Together at Home special.

A variety of other Canadian celebrities also will take part in the event, including Howie Mandel, Will Arnett, Jason Priestley, and The Handmaid’s Tale author Margaret Atwood, as well as — according to CBC.caCatherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Kiefer Sutherland, Martin Short, and Mike Myers.

Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble will air commercial-free.  Viewers will be asked to donate to Food Banks Canada, which supports food banks across the country.
