Big Machine Label GroupRingo Starr, Joe Walsh and Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson are among the artists who have contributed to a new song called “Bad Trick” by veteran Texas singer/songwriter Ray Wylie Hubbard.

The gritty blues-flavored song, which is available now as a digital single and via streaming services, is the lead track of Hubbard’s upcoming studio album, Co-Starring, due out on July 10.

“Bad Trick” features Starr on drums, Walsh on slide guitar and Robinson on harmony vocals, as well as acclaimed producer and bassist Don Was on double bass. Ringo, Joe, Chris and Don all appear in the official video for the tune, which you can watch at Wylie’s official VEVO YouTube channel.

The clip appears to have been shot at Starr’s home studio, judging by the Beatles– and Ringo-related memorabilia and artwork featured in the space where the musicians are shown playing their parts.

Co-Starring is a 10-track collection featuring various guest musicians on each track, including such country artists as Pam Tillis, Ashley McBryde and Brooks & Dunn‘s Ronnie Dunn.

You can pre-order the album now.
