A man from Bull Shoals was killed and a Mountain Home woman was injured when their motorcycle collided with a car in Harrison Sunday afternoon. The Harrison Police Department has identified the driver of the motorcycle as 67-year-old Jon Neal. He was airlifted to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield where he died from his injuries Sunday night. His passenger, 72-year-old Katherine Pettit, was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.

The report indicates the accident happened when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Trenton Street of Harrison attempted to make a left turn from U.S. Highway 65 onto Walmart Drive and pulled into the path of Neal’s motorcycle causing the head-on accident.
