Courtesy of the Newport Folk FestivalThe 2020 Newport Folk Festival has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s edition of the Rhode Island institution was set to take place from July 31 to August 2, and feature performances from Rock & Roll of Famer Randy Newman and many other artists.
Those who bought tickets to the 2020 festival have three options: donate some or all of the ticket price to ensuring the festival can continue in 2021, transfer your tickets to a 2021 Revival Membership that will give you a three-day pass to next year’s event, or receive a full refund.
Organizers are also asking for outside donations to keep the Newport Folk Festival going into future years.
