The Marion County Transfer Station will open two hours late on Monday morning due to staff and safety meetings. Hours of operation on Monday will be from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.The Transfer Station will return to regular hours of operation on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
As a reminder, safety precautions remain in effect under the public health emergency declaration issued by Gov. Asa Hutchinson due to the COVID-19 virus.
Until further notice, to limit public exposure patrons are asked to remain in their vehicles. Transfer Station employees will remove the trash and/or recyclables from vehicles in order to maintain social distancing and help prevent spreading of any virus.
