The names of this year’s most outstanding graduating students in the College of Liberal Arts and Communication at Arkansas State University have been announced, according to Dr. Carl Cates, dean. The list includes a local student receiving one of four top awards in the Communication Department, Shawna Martin of Gassville. Martin is set to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in strategic communication.These awards are normally presented during Convocation of Scholars, which had to be canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
