Polydor RecordsThe Rolling Stones‘ recently released single, “Living in a Ghost Town,” has been given a dance twist by popular Brazilian DJ Alok.

The “Alok Remix” version of the track is available now as a digital download and via streaming services. You also can check out the song at the band’s official YouTube channel. Among the interesting aspects of the remix are Mick Jagger‘s digitally altered vocals and added electronic beats.

As previously reported, The Rolling Stones started recording the reggae-flavored tune last year at studios in Los Angeles and London, and finished the track as the band members’ self-isolated at their homes during the coronavirus pandemic.  The song’s lyrics are partly inspired by life during the global health crisis.

In other news, the third installment of The Rolling Stones’ Extra Licks weekly archival online series, which offers bonus footage from some of their concert films, will premiere this Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on the band’s YouTube channel.

This week’s feature includes rare performances from the 2017 Sticky Fingers Live at The Fonda Theatre flick, which captured an intimate show that the band played in Los Angeles to mark the launch its 2015 ZIP Code Tour. The concert included a full performance of The Stones’ classic 1971 Sticky Fingers album, plus select other tunes.

During the Extra Licks screening, Stones fans from around the world will have the chance to connect and chat online.
