Big Creek Golf and Country Club was able bring the Ozark Cup back to Mountain Home during the weekend after a rain-shortened event. The match went to the wire, with Big Creek defeating Harrison Country Club 8-6.

Big Creek was leading Harrison 4 1/2-2 1/2 after Saturday morning’s best-ball matches. Saturday afternoon’s alternate-shot matches were rained out, and identical seven best-ball matches were played Sunday at Harrison instead of the planned 14 singles matches.

Four Big Creek teams went unbeaten. Bradley Coleman and Spencer Adams, Brandon Maple and Matt Kelly and Brent Edens and Seth Johnson each went 2-0. Mike and Robbie Robbins were 1-0, after Robbie Robbins sank a clutch 8-foot putt Saturday on the final hole to secure a crucial halve.
