Courtesy of Dave HoganSince Ronnie Wood began self-isolating in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rolling Stones guitarist has been posting occasional video messages on his social media pages offering encouragement to fans who, like him, have struggled with alcohol or drug abuse.

Wood recently posted a new message, which he delivers from an outdoor bench on a beautiful, sunny day.

“Good day to you. And another day clean and serene, and another day full of gratitude,” the 73-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer says. “And that is the best prayer, is to be thankful for the small mercies that we do have, like the weather, like the planet healing, and taking it one day at a time. So I wish you all well, and I’ll check in again with you soon.”

Accompanying the video is a note that reads, “Wishing everyone well during these difficult times.”

In other news, Wood is offering prints of a new portrait he’s painted called “Welcome” that depicts him and his Rolling Stones band mates Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts. The prints, which are available for pre-order now at Ronnie’s official online store, will be released on June 5.
