An altercation Saturday afternoon between two males has reportedly led to a homicide investigation in West Plains. According to a West Plains Police Department spokesperson, one male was pronounced dead, after being transported to Ozarks Medical Center for treatment, and the other male has been taken into custody.
Officers responded to a residence on Lanton Road at approximately 3 p.m. for a report of an altercation. Officers learned one male allegedly produced a firearm and shot another male multiple times.
