Following the announcement from the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) on the resumption of team sports during the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Mountain Home is ready to get kids in the Twin Lakes Area back on the diamond.Mayor Hillrey Adams announced last Friday the leagues would resume in June, following the ADH’s guidelines. When the moratorium on sports was issued by the state in March, the city’s youth baseball league was ready to start, while softball was on the cusp, according to Adams.

Due to the delay in the season, the city will allow children that haven’t previously registered to join the league, the mayor says.
