The recent heavy rains have led to the closure of a local road. Marion County Road 8060 at Jimmie’s Creek Bridge is closed until further notice.
Marion County Judge John Massey says the weather conditions caused damage to the bridge. Road crews are working to repair the bridge, and the public will be notified when the road reopens.
