UPDATE: Silver Alert for man missing from Harrison inactivated

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office is advising via a Facebook post 61-year-old James A. Harp “has been located and is in great care now.”
The post extends appreciation to Harrison Fire and Rescue, Arkansas Game & Fish, Boone County Search and Rescue, Cottonwood Fire Department, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center and to “many, many more volunteers” who took time out of their Memorial Day to help a local citizen.

Harp is the subject of a Silver Alert issued by the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.Harp was last seen at 7726 Navajo Drive Sunday night in Harrison, wearing a faded black 5 shirt, jeans and green Crocs. Harp is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He has short, silver hair and brown eyes.Anyone with information on Harp’s whereabouts should contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Department at (870) 741-8404.
