UPDATE: Personnel committee meeting pushed to Thursday

Update: The City of Mountain Home has announced the personnel committee meeting originally scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 5:15 has been rescheduled until Thursday at noon.

Original story: The City of Mountain Home has announced three special meetings will be held this week at the Municipal Building.The city council’s personnel committee will meet Wednesday afternoon at 5:15 in council chambers to address a move of the “meter maintenance” position from Grade 4 to Grade 6.The city will host a meeting requested by Justin Methvin of Methvin Sanitation to discuss the company’s sanitation contract. That meeting will begin Thursday afternoon at 5:15.

Immediately following the meeting with Methvin, the city council will hold a special session at 6 to consider an ordinance to waive competitive bidding on the purchase of a tower ladder truck. In last week’s regular council meeting, the purchase of a 2015 Sutphen ladder truck from Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus in Alabama was approved.
