The Izard County Athletic Department will hold its annual fundraising golf tournament this month. The Cougar Open is scheduled for June 13, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at the Golf Course on Turkey Mountain in Horseshoe Bend.

The entry fee for the two-person scramble is $100 per team. Anyone looking to use a cart will be charged an extra $10, plus tax. Entry forms may be turned into the Turkey Mountain pro shop or mailed to Izard County High School.

Cash prizes will be determined by the number of entrants. Door and hole prizes include closest to the pin, long drive and longest putt, and hole-in-one prizes are sponsored by Bad Boy Mowers and Mark Martin Chevrolet.
