Following approval by the Mountain Home School Board recently, students in the district will receive all of their school supplies free of charge for the second year in a row. The school district is purchasing the school supplies in bulk, which allows them to equip each student for much less than what parents normally spend, according to superintendent Dr. Jake Long.

Long says the project covers all of the supplies students will need, saving parents money and time.

The price tag of the project is just over $138,000, which is being covered by a grant.
