A pair of small protests occurred this week in Mountain Home as demonstrations continue throughout the nation. According to Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel, a group of 14 individuals were out Thursday, and six protesters could be seen late Friday afternoon northwest of the Baxter County Courthouse square. Chief Manuel says the protestors were peaceful, and no problems were caused. The protests come following the death of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis.
