Lockeroom ends up with split on opening day

The opening day to the season had mixed results Saturday for the Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team. The Russellville Pirates Tournament began on a rough note for the Lockeroom team, as they fell to Sheridan by a final of 10-0.

Mountain Home bounced back in its second game beating up on Mena 9-2. Carter Graves led the Lockeroom with two hits and two RBIs, Carter Bagwell also provided two hits, and Josh Prinner and Gage Harris each drove in two runs.

Mountain Home is 1-1 on the season, and will return to M.J. Hickey Park Sunday for a 10 a.m. matchup with Russellville.
