A Boone County man, 34-year-old Christopher Olcott of Harrison, is facing a felony charge of second-degree sexual assault, as well as a sentence enhancement as a habitual offender.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Thursday, a Boone County Sheriff’s investigator met with Olcott in reference to a drive-by shooting report and another incident the Harrison man was a suspect in.

During the interview, Olcott allegedly confessed to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old female. The incident reportedly occurred between March 2019 and March 2020.

It was noted on Jan. 31, 2013, Olcott was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault from the military. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office website indicates that assault involved an adult female.

Bond in the latest case was set at $100,000.
