The clip, titled “Ghost Light,” was created to raise awareness for Acting for Others, a group of charities helping theater workers in need of financial and emotional support because of the economic effects of the COVID-19 lockdown.
The film shows various dancers displaying their moves on empty streets outside of such London venues as The Royal Opera House, Shakespeare’s Globe theater and the Apollo Theatre, as well as Dublin, Ireland’s Abbey Theatre, all of which have been closed because of the pandemic.
The clip ends with one of the dancers, with a serious expression on her face, miming the lyrics, “Life was so beautiful/ Then we all got locked down.” You can watch the video now on YouTube.
Jagger helped create the edited version of “Living in a Ghost Town” with Matthew Clifford, who is a member of The Rolling Stones’ current touring band.

Hamrick previously collaborated with Jagger on a ballet titled Porte Rouge that premiered last year. The couple have a three-year-old son together, Devereaux.
