2 women killed, child injured in crash in Henderson

Two women were killed and a child was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Henderson. The Arkansas State Police has identified the victims as 37-year-old Yvette Stroud of Henderson and 41-year-old Norra Haddock of Salem. The name and age of the child, who was a passenger in Stroud’s vehicle, were not released by the state police.

The preliminary fatal crash summary indicates the accident happened when Haddock’s car crossed the centerline and struck Stroud’s vehicle head-on.

The injured child was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield for treatment.

The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 62/412 at the intersection of Crystal Cove Road at 8:35 Tuesday night.
