A Mountain Home man, who was reportedly “paranormal hunting” in Little Rock, has been arrested, after he allegedly stabbed another man. Thirty-one-year-old Mark Anthony Galloway was arrested following the incident shortly after 2 Tuesday morning.

According to information from the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Little Rock Police responded to the Rodeway Inn & Suites on west 65th Street for a report of a person being stabbed. When they arrived, they found the victim, 30-year-old James Patterson, bleeding heavily from stab wounds to the torso and leg.

A female told police she, Patterson and Galloway began arguing when she and Patterson wanted to leave the cemetery where they were “paranormal hunting.” They got into a vehicle and started driving away with Galloway behind the wheel. The woman told police they did not want him to drive, and when Patterson tried to get control of the vehicle, Galloway started stabbing him.

Both Patterson and Galloway were taken to UAMS for treatment of injuries.

Galloway has been charged with a felony count of first-degree battery. He also has a hold for a parole violation. His bond is set at $100,000.

Galloway has had numerous run-ins with the law, including multiple arrests in Little Rock for drug possession. In 2016, he pled guilty in a negotiated plea to two counts of aggravated assault and one count of false imprisonment in Baxter County Circuit Court for an incident where he forced a woman into a car in the parking lot of a Mountain Home business in May of 2015.
