Burke/Triolo Productions/ThinkstockWhiskey Myers have unveiled the lineup for their personally-curated Firewater Music Festival. Featuring The Drive-By Truckers and more, the event is scheduled for October.

Jason Isbell and Rosanne Cash are two of the acts scheduled to play as part of the just-announced virtual concert Keep the Music Playing, via Nashville broadcaster Acme Radio Live. Set for June 17, the event will raise funds for the Music Health Alliance and take place across a variety of venues and locales in Music City.

Hailey Whitters has teamed up with Big Loud Records and Songs & Daughters to launch her own Pigasus imprint at the label. A longtime Nashville songwriter, Hailey has made waves as an opening act for Maren Morris and with her breakout hit, “Ten Year Town.”

Mary Chapin Carpenter announced her new album, The Dirt and the Stars, which is set for release on August 7. The title track, “Between the Dirt and the Stars,” is out today.

John Berry’s children’s collection, Songs & Stories for Kids with Papa Berr, will now be available to patients at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital. John originally began compiling the project when he learned he was going to be a grandfather for the first time.
